“The Launch,” An All-New Episode Of South America, Premieres Wednesday, September 30 At 10PM ET/PT On Comedy Central And Next Day On Paramount+ In The U.S., Canada And Australia
“The Launch”: The new kid has only been at school for three days, and Cartman is already convinced he knows something nobody else does. When the boys follow him home, they find hundreds of people online talking about a kid nobody can name, and Cartman has an idea: if everybody already knows him as the new kid, why not make that the coin? $NEWKID launches, nothing happens for twenty seconds, and then the number starts climbing. Within eleven minutes there is fan art, profile pictures, and someone who has been “following the project for months.” Cars pull up outside. Kids from school show up, then adults, then Randy. By midnight the new kid’s bedroom is the unofficial headquarters of something none of them understand, Cartman has appointed himself Head of Marketing, Kyle refuses to participate while continuing to participate, and Stan keeps asking when they are supposed to stop. Then somebody knocks on the bedroom door. They made a coin about the new kid. Now everyone wants to know who the new kid is.
